Post D&C Questions

Hi i had a d&c on 13th june 07 & i bleed very light for about a week & then stoppped at this point my nipples because very sensative i did an ovulation test and it showed positive me & hubby dtd unprotected around this time. About the 27th i started with light bleeding again (still spotting bits now). HPT showed negative week after d&c & still are, if working on 28days period would be due sun/mon this week. Can anyone tell me what happend to them post d&c i.e bleeding.

I spotted for 3 or 4 days after my D&C.  I still did not have a period 7 or 8 weeks later.  The midwife prescribed Provera, but it did not work because I became pregnant again at that time.  I am due July 29th.  Good luck to you!

How soon did you get pg after m/c, (if you don't mind me asking)
Also did your bleeding just stop all together after the 1st week (with no spotting)

Yes, once I stopped spotting that was the end of bleeding for me.  I had the D&C on a Friday and stopped spotting the following Tuesday.  I didn't have anymore bleeding at all after that.

I guess I must have gotten pregnant right at the same time the midwife prescribed the Provera.  My m/c and d&c was on Sept. 15th and I got pregnant around the 1st or 2nd week of November.  I wasn't trying to get pregnant.  I had been told to wait 3 cycles before ttc again, but it just happened and everything went okay.

I had a D&C on 6/14.  I bled on and off for 2 full weeks--very, very heavily between days 6-10.  I thought something was wrong; ob-gyn surgeon said some women bleed 4 weeks.  If you think the bleeding is very heavy, you might want to have your hemoglobin checked to be sure you're not anemic; probably your ob-gyn's lab can do this for you (it's just a finger *****).  I'm sorry for your loss with the miscarriage....

I had a D&C on 1/26/07, bled for 2-3 days then spotted for 5-7 days.  I got my period within a month of the D&C.  I am still trying to conceive since then.  Wishing you well.

I had a DNC in 9/11/06.  I only bled lightly for about 2-3 days-no discomfort, no cramps.  Got my period exactly one month from date of DNC- it was like my body thought is my period.
