PostPartum question(s)

I am almost 111/2 months PP and I have not had my period. I stopped breast feeding about a month in a half ago. My husband and i are trying to get pregnant again. My question is when should I expect my period and could the fact that I am trying to get pregnant agian delay my body from being ready to concieve (conceive) again?

I got my period about six weeks after I stopped nursing.  I'm sure everyone is different and the only problem I see in you trying to conceive again is that since you haven't gotten your period yet, it would be difficult to know your cycle and when you are ovulating.  That would make it difficult to know when you conceive when you finally do, but I guess all that really doesn't matter if you end up with a healthy baby!  Good luck!

i don't have any personal experiance with this by my sil was nursing her son and never got her period , she only found out she was pregnant again because she went for her annual exam. She got pregnant when her son was 11mths old and continued nursing him until she was 5 months pregnant.

im on the other boat i was breastfeeding and fell pregnant with dd number 2 when dd number1 was only 6 weeks old and i hadent had a period at all.
this time round my dd is nearly 6 months old and i started mine when she was 3 months old and she is attached to the boob all day its funny isnt it the way things work maybe you can go to your doctor he can prescribe something to jump start your period goodluck.oh yeah and i wish i was like you no period for a year.
