Pre-Seed lubricant

by wrknonit, Nov 21, 2006 12:00AM
I was just curious if anybody had any success with this stuff.  I actually produce enough of my own stuff but sometimes I dry up if my dh and I do it a few extra (just in case) time on "o" day.  Just curious if anybody really loves the stuff and thinks it works.  Sorry for the two question thing...but they are two totally different questions...and both good questions for future people looking at this site.  I pull up **** all the time from this site from a long time ago that "helps" in answering my questions like these!!! :)  Thanks for the help ladies! God Bless!

What is Pre-seed?

by foxy1220, Nov 21, 2006 12:00AM
I agree, I used it for two months and got pregnant.

I really want to use it as I have it at home, yet this has been discussed on here and some girls have had doctors say not to use it still has some chemicals in it which are not good for sperm.  I really worry that I don't have EWCM (even though I got pregnant in July, yet MC in September) so I bought the Pre seed and used it last month (1st try after MC) but when I didn't get pregnant, I panicked and thought it was because of the Pre-seed.  I just wish I could find out if it helps or actually hurts those little swimmers :-)

I just went to my dr. last week and asked her she said that pre-seed has a chemical in it that prevents infection and that it does lower sperm count.... I personally know someone who has used it and became pregnant. Maybe it's fine for people who don't have infertility issues. But my dr. does not recommend it.

I think it's better than KY or Astroglide, but my RE advised against using it. But like PBedazzle, I think it's probably fine for a lot of couples.

Loved it! Got pg 1st time using it w/3rd pregnancy. Good luck. It's the only sperm-friendly lube on the market that mimicks ewcm.

I used it on the 2nd cycle got my BFP.  I had been TTC for 9 cycles - then again I was also on clomid with my BFP cycle.  GL!

I loved it, too! Got my BFP the first month I used it...but that's not saying it was the Pre-Seed that caused it. Personally, I think it helped, but I also used OPK's for timing, and switched positions each time we would bd (missionary or from behind...those are the only two positions we would use) and I would lay there and watch tv or read for about 20 to 30 minutes afterward.

Who knows about the Pre-Seed? But it sure made bd'ing easier!

I think it works--I was on my 6th round of Clomid and pretty desperate. My doctor told me I would have to do an IUI if I didn't get pregnant that round. I had no ewcm at all! So I ordered some and to my astonishment--I got pregnant. I am now 19 weeks along.
