What precautions to be taken after surgical termination especially in sex participation? How many days should we not participate in sex after termination.

In other words an Abortion? Probably like a D&C, I'm not sure but I would say at least a few days for fear of infection.

if you are not wishing to become pregnant again, i would be very careful in having sex. what i mean is, i believe it is much easier to get pregnant after miscarriages, abortions, births, etc. i have a friend that had an abortion last march and then ended up pregnant again the very next month.

also, i had a miscarriage 2 yrs ago and my dr. said to wait 6 weeks. i would assume the same advice would be given in your case as well.

Your terminating doctor should have explained all of this to you.

You should not have sex until your bleeding stops. Other precautions to be taken includes: not to take baths(take shower), and try not to use tampons.
