Pregnancy Signs

I have been wondering what was the first pregnancy symptom that all of you women experienced?   Did you have symptoms prior to your BFP or did they come a few weeks later?
I "O'ed" 7 days ago and I have never before experienced such painful/tender breasts. It may be some major PMS so I am not getting my hopes up.
Just thought it would be fun to share with us TTC your signs/symptoms.

My first sign was missed period.  I felt fine - I didn't "feel" pg.  Sore boobs and other symptoms didn't start till 7-8 weeks.

I'm right there with you,,,,,my breasts are feeling very full and am hoping and praying that I am pregnant,,,,my stomach is also very swollen, and my back has these pimples on it that I have been getting lately,,but for me,,I get these signs with pms also, so I never never know>>>
I'm curious how soon people got their pregnancy symptoms,,,,
I should be able to answer that myself, but can't really remember early symptoms?
I do however remember that I knew when my period didn't come, for sure I was pregnant...only because I'm right to the day every month,,very seldom a few days later than normal.
I also remember when testing for pregnancy, my urine was very strong smelling(not to be gross) and also very dark in colour.
But I guess I will have to wait and see,,,,its going to be a long 11 days......

Well, you kinda' know mine, but I'll reiterate.  I had hardly any symptoms, except for irritability and headaches.  These signs showed up about a weeks after I ovulated.  But no boobs hurting or anything.  Different symptoms for all, and I pray this is your sign!

I just missed a period never had morning sickness or nothing
From what i read some experience symptoms then you hear of others that dont even know they are pregnant

With my first 7 yrs ago I remember I had pg symptoms within the first week of getting pg.  I remember feeling SOOOOOOO tired (which was odd for me at the time) I would take 3 hour naps and fall asleep at 7:00 and sleep all night.   I had terrible heartburn and I would dry heave over the bathroom sink every morning.   I knew way before my AF was due it would not come.  I missed my period and that day took a test (which I already knew it would be +++++) it was a BFP REAL QUICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!   It is VERY possible to feel symptoms VERY early.  I think it is pretty rare though.  With my second I was just a little tired but by then that was an everyday thing.  I was trying to get pg so I took a test one day and it was positive.   I really did not have symptoms with my DS until a little later.

When i was pregnant my boobs were swollen and painful before i knew i was pregnant. I was two days late and tested positive.  I was hoping that it might be different each time because now I am expecting AF anywhere from today til Friday w/ no swollen breasts or pain and usually i at least get this w/ pms???  Does that mean you are lacking in progesterone? Well I hope your swollen breasts are a positive!!!

Thanks, I usually get tender breasts but this is so much more. It hurts to wear a bra and they are sore w/out even being touched.  I also have some acne on my back and collarbone!! Yikes I NEVER break out. I feel like a young teenager just entering puberty. :)

With my first dd I had nothing but missed peroid but I didnt even get that until after 3 mos.  I started the cravings after my peroid stopped.  No morning sickness nothing.

With the one I m.c I was terrible I felt like I had to pee all of the time, and was crampy, bloated, nauses, everything you can think of.

So everyone is different.  I hope you are pg!!

Ateague my cycle is kinda wacko this month, I'm due for AF today, but I have been having VERY LIGHT PINK spotting on and off the last few days, and a little more last night after bd. Some light cramping too and ache around my left ovary last night. I have NO idea if this is good or not, but last month I had sore boobs 10 days before AF, I didn't start getting sore boobs untill Sunday this month...I also have been moody last few days, and cried like a baby on Friday/depressed. Usually I'm like that right before AF and then she comes...hmmm??? You're making me think. I"m trying to be good and wait a week though, I was a day late last month, so even though AF is due today, she could still come tomorrow, I feel like she wants to, but for some reason isn't, oh well.I've also had some watery/eggwhite type cm last few days, which usually comes right before AF also, so who knows. Temps are still up, though they dropped on Friday but went back up.  I'm about 12dpo btw. God bless and let us know how the u/s goes.

Sounds like you maybe pg!!  The spotting maybe implantion bleeding, I had the same thing with the one I m.c.  Also the cm your saying you have I had that also a lot of it when I was pg.  I hope you are and anyone else who thinks they maybe!!

When I threw up after brushing my teeth, I knew SOMETHING was wrong.  The next thing was the cramping.  When I took the test, it started changing right away.  But I was about 2 1/2 months before I found out.  I used to skip periods all the time so I didn't think anything of it.  Please keep posting and let us know what happens.  We are going to try again too and it's good to know that you're not alone.  Good Luck!!

I hope so, but trying not to get my hopes up too much. So you really had watery/eggwhite cm? Everything I"ve read or heard from people is that usually during preg. it's thick/creamy/white...sorry tmi. It's good to know I still might have a chance, since someone who's been preggo has had it...we'll see, like I said I'm trying to be good...and wait a week, my AF has been known to show up 1-3 days late. Haha...thats awesome, I mean to feel like a young teenager.  Actually when i was pregant that's how i felt but more like experiencing my body for the first time.  My breasts were sore and sensitive and i wanted DH to touch them.  Actually I couldnt get them touched enough...they were big for the first time in my life and it felt so feminine!!!!  I am prayin for you.

I'm pretty sure there's no correlation between progesterone levels and breast pain. If you are concerned of your progesterone levels, you should probably go see a doc.  Usually, progesterone levels are linked to the raise in temp after ovulation, so you might want to BBT to make sure everything is in order to have a baby.  It's a good way to pass the time when you're waiting on that ever elusive AF!  Good luck!

I have been charting and I think we missed O by two days and DH was outa town the actual nite of O...just thought it was weird that my breast didnt even get painful.  Even for pms they are usually painful, just wondered if i was lacking in some hormone??
Either way I am learning a lot about my body and my cycles.

BTW, any change in your cycle can be considered a pregnancy sign.  Like, if something is there that wasn't normally there, or if something wasn't there that normally is there.  For instance, my sign was that I got really moody about 4-5 days before AF was due and it lasted for 3 days.  I usually get moody the day b/f AF, and next day I start, well, not this time!  That change made me wonder if I was preg., and I was!

Well i did not know that!!!  Good news maybe?!  I guess we will see in a few days.  So would you know if I could have still made O even if we hadnt had sex since two days prior?  And i heard that if you are that far away it will be a girl and if you are dead on the O it will be a boy???

Sounds like you hit it just right.  The best time to catch the egg is 3-5 days before ovulation.  DH and I thought we missed it too, we BD the day of and day after ovulation and got preg.  I have heard of the shettles method, where if you BD several days before, it will be a girl, and either day of or day after, it will be a boy.  Something about the Y sperm is faster but doesn't live as long as the X sperm.  It's still a theory and not proven, but it's fun to think you had any say in the gender.

I DONT KEEP TRACK OF WHEN MY PERIOD IS JUST KINDA GO BY MEMORY SO A LATE PERIOD WOULDNT HAVE BEEN NOTICED FOR AWHILE. I had no physical symptoms at all, just extra moody and grouchy. My husband was getting on my nerves all the time
! I didn't cry, just felt like exploding at him and everyone. That was the first thing I said, "Sorry I've been so b---chy, but I'm pregnant!". This time round we knew I was pregnant again b/c of the same thing. Poor thing couldn't do anything right to please me for the first couple weeks!

I too had a m/c in september, this month I temped and thought I might be PG, my boobs were so sore and very dark, felt ill and sleepy, but AF came and has lasted 9 days when I am normally 7.
Can you bleed and still be pg?

I woke up this morning with some cramps and creamy white discharge. Never had that before so who knows what is going on. Hormones are still raging and my poor DH cannot do anything right. :)  I am pretty darn grouchy.

How long are your cycles usually?  I have the same symptoms w/ the discharge and cranky and AF was due yesterday but my cycles sometimes run 28 to 30 days.  I hate to get all excited cuz the down can really suck when AF does get here but I cant help but hope!!!

My breasts are heavy and not sore, they get hard then they get tender, I'm supose to have a period today, and nothing, :(
I'm scared because I had miscarried in Septemvber and then had a D&C on the 20th of September.

hi, can anyone assist me.  I had a cyst removed from my ovary about 2 years ago and now i don't think i can conceive.  However, during my last period my husband and i had sex and now i am having very swollen breast though my cycle is not due, so i don't think it's PMS.  Can this be a sign of pregnancy???  I am also suffering with a lot of gasy nauseous feelings, especially after I eat.  Also, is it possible for conception to happen even tho sex was performed during my period???

Yes you can get pg from sex during period.

My period is always very irregular.  So I didn't know it was late.  But I got sore breasts which normally meant it was a week away, but it never came.  Then I was tired, so tired, tired like I have never been before in my life.  And then I noticed my ankles were swollen.  At that point I did a HPT and it was positive!

I last had my mentrual cycle November 19th 2005, i finished on the 23rd, then about aweek and ahalf later on a friday i started to have some very very light pink spotting that was only seen on tissue paper,the following day is was alittle bit redder and again was only seen on the tissue paper,by sunday it was back to being very very light pink then nothing..then the following week again on one day i had very very light pink spotting again and was only seen on the tissue paper...then it was gone.My period is due today (hasn't came yet) by curiousity i did a pregnancy test yesterday the day before my period but it was neg -....Would anyone here know what the spotting was about ..oh and i also had some very light pink spotting again yesterday only seen on tissue paper.

Ok heres my situation, I am not regular on my cycle either and usually have a period every other month because my period is not regular. I usually have my period in the beggining of the month but only every other month and right now I am a few days late which normally would not worry me but yesterday I had brown colored spotting on the toilet paper and cramps like af was here but nothing and when I went to wipe I saw brown but today I saw a light colored pink on the toilet paper and no cramps today. I usually do not notice any breast tenderness with my period and so I am not experiencing breast pain at all right now, if any maybe mild pain but not noticealbe and also I have slight nausea throughout the day but thats it. I have never experienced any spotting before (ever) and does anyone know if spotting could be caused by something else? I don't want to get my hopes up on being pregnant because I want to be. I had sex November 29 2005 2 weeks after my finished period and since then i have been feeling weird as in feeling bloated and having sore boobs well December 15 i had a very light period one day it was like a red-brown-pink then for two days it was like a tire trail of brown then it stopped the entire day nothing in my pad then the next day was the same tire trail brown then finished completly didnt see it fade or whatever, and after my my so called weird period i had which was like my normal period my boobs been hurting since then im so much in pain that sometimes i cant even sleep at night i can cry cause my breasts are so tender i keep turning side to side it hurts when i go play pool at a bar hurts when i dont have a bra on or when i do im kind of going crazy cause of the pain adn i do feel blaoted i get sometimes this abdominal pain where i feel as if my inestines or something tightened on me i have to take pills to stool sorry to say cause im so constipated i cant go and below my belly i feel as if my uterus is working as if im gonna start my period and this as been going since after my finished period the weird one i had could anyone help me on why i could be feeling like this?

hi everyone. I'm 16 y.o and so very confused. I had sex with a 17 y.o. I'nm not on birth control and he doesnt wear condemns. i kno I'm stupid. but he pulls out. I heard you can still get pregnant. I sometimes feel light headed. and my boobs hurt. we've done it 14 times like this. I always have to pee.we did it dec.11th and I barely bled. I think it couldve been early pregnant bleeding and we did it two more times on the 22nd.I havent had my pieriod yet its supposed to came around the 15th. so i guess ill wait and see. i cant sleep!! that how i new!! im tired after running round after 14month old but soon as head hits pillow i cant bloody sleep n im usually gettin 10hours but now only 6!! its so boring getting up wiv out my son awake!! noramlly hes my alarm clock!! guna put him bed at 4pm n we wiw b up at same time then woohoo lol!! i did pos test yest! im only 2/3weeks i dnt miss period till 15th so it was good test they were pound for 3 n they stiw wrkid but i got expensive1 to conferm n it did! iv got cramps wiv my son i was so ill tired all time slept all night n napped al day till 15weeks puked frm 8weeks till 24weeks! but no symptoms till 7/8weeks! iv got no symtoms (symptoms) now unless extreme insomnia is 1!! ?? please dnt no1 go by the ovulation calculater only go by ovulation tests! my periods are always 36days like clock wrk im MENT to ovulate on 17thto21st ut i dont i still ovulate on 14th day!! so i nearly missed my chance and it took me 4 years for me to get preg im normal young n perfectly healthy the dr now thinks its because i relyed on books n internet to find out! 1st month i used ovulation sticks i got pregnant! so please all u mummys n mummys to b!! dnt beileve what it says unless u do ovultaion test!! xx

Nope, I was not preggers at the time I posted this. I remember having so many possible preg symptoms. I did not get pregnant with my daughter until 6 months later. Took me 9 months to get pregnant with her and every month I would of sworn was the month.

This is our last pregnancy. We always wanted two kids so it is perfect to have one of each. I got an IUD after Quinn was born and once I had it removed in order to get preggers with baby #2 it took me 5 months. Only 3 of those months did I actively try tho. ;) So we were lucky to get preggers so quickly.

I made some really good friends on this site which is why I have been on it for so long. ;)
