Pregnancy Symptoms after m/c-new pregnancy?

I started m/c on 20/10 and finished bleeding on 25/10.  Took negative pg test on 26/10.  My m/c was natrual (no d&C) at 6 weeks and i am 28 and had never been pg prior to my m/c.

I had unprotected sex on 25/10, 28/10 and 29/10 and am trying to conceive before i get af. (i have done lots of research on this and have made an informed decision).

The strange thing is that i am already experiencing pregnancy-like symptoms such as slightly sore breasts, increased thirst, frequency of urination and very slight faintness at times.  the symptoms are not that pronounced yet but enough for me to notice.  In fact I have had some of the symptoms today that i get (i think) when i am ovulating and i have noticed a mucus today which is not egg white but sort of clear.  

This could all be in my head cos i so want to be pregnant again but i just wonder if i might be.
ive heard it said many times that the bench mark for ovulation after m/c is roughly 14 days but i was under the impression that you count from the day the bleeding stops and ure levels return to normal.  if i am counting from the first day of bleeding, i am now on day 11.  if its from the time i took the negative pg test its now day 5 (or 6).  

I guess all this pontificating is pretty fruitless anyhow as i will still need to wait at least another 3 wks b4 i can take a pg test to find out for sure.  im so impatient grrrrrr.

I know how bad you wanna be pregnant, I have suffered 5 m/c myself. I think it's to early for pregnancy symptoms sorry, you could be getting your AF, as those are signs of that as well, God Bless and Good luck

I've been going through the same thing as you.  My m/c was about a week earlier then yours but I have been feeling like maybe I am pregnant again which I don't really believe is possible.  I am wondering if maybe I just want to be pregnant so badly that I am finding symptoms that aren't really there.  I'm not saying that you can't be pregnant again just that sometimes the mind does strange things!!!  I just wanted to wish you luck.  Please keep us posted!

you could be pregnant again or it could be AF....I lost my 3nd baby this year on July 7th...bled until the 13th and then got my AF 2 weeks later on Aug 2nd...conceived again on Aug 19th but again lost that baby...my 3rd in 7mos

i know everyone is different but i always caution against a new pregnancy so soon after a m/c...

i also think its too early to be wondering if im pg but im just an impatient kinda gal. and im definately urinating more frequently which was smething i distinctly noticed at the start of my pregnancy and i never have this b4 a period.

anyway i must be patient and it wouldn't be so bad if i found myself having af in between as i am aware that many would recommend this. i think from what ive read u should deffo wait a cycle if u have had a d&C cos the lining of the uterus has been scraped and may need to mend.  after a natrual m/c so early on i am convinced from the reading ive done that there are no known risks with getting pregnant soon after a/f.  however im no expert and would never advise anyone to follow my advice as it is true that we are all different.

I just wanted to let you know I had a miscarriage earlier this month (natural) and am now having pregnancy symptoms and 2 positive hpts. I called the docs office and they are having me come in at 315 central time for a check up. since my numbers were so low before it shouldnt be positive. Did you have your hcg levels checked? The doctors office said you can get pregnant very soon after a mc and have a healthy baby and pregnancy. When you take a test let me know =) I will tell you if the docs office gives me any new info about miscarrying and pregnancy so soon after.Also, if you take a test buy one that is not very sensitive.

Thats really exciting! congratulations!!! i would truly love to be pregnant again-it would feel like starting out with another chance of having a baby not much later than i originally thought b4 my m/c.  another reason why i personally want to get on with it is because i have read that docs won't even check u out unless uve m/c more than 2wice.  if thats the case and considering that there is apparently no higher risk of m/c again after one m/c, i see no sense in waiting. i speak for myself only as i know some people may feel differently and emotionally unready to try again.  thats great news about you and its given me hope.  my husband and i actually conceived very quickly the 1st time round, as we had only had unprotected sex twice ever and i got pregnant straight away. if that happens again, it shouldn't be too long.  if you don't mind me asking, when did you m/c?  i think its still far too early for me to test but its always tempting to waste another test strip......lol

sorry forgot to answer ure question re: test. i did have blood tests taken at the hospital when discovered i was bleeding. they tested 48 hrs between and confirmed i was m/c.  i don't know what the figures were though cos they didn't tell me.  i did a hpt though on 26/10 which was negative so presumably if a i tested positive after a previous negative hpt that would be my answer??

Same thing happened to me, and I was so excited. Unfortunately it was just the Hcg becoming lower and lower from my m/c, not a new pregnancy. But I did get pregnant 2 mos.later..

Yes, I would think if you took another HPT and it came back positive that would mean yes. just make sure you don't take the First Response test, because that detects a very small amount of HCG and they say after a m/c to make sure to use one that's not sensitive just incase it's old HCG. I don't know exactly when I m/c because I was spotting the whole time, even before I took the test, so I guess I could have been losing it even before I found out I was pregnant. And my first HCG test came back at 67. Not promising. My urine test came back pos. from the drs today, tomorrow morning I will hear about the new HCG levels. The doc seemed very enthuastic about it. So tomorrow afternoon I go in for an ultra sound at the hospital, to make sure nothing is left from the previos pregnancy, and see if theres anything yet or not! Wish me luck.
