Pregnancy advice needed!! please help!!

Ok im going to describe my situation as best i can.
well on feb. 16th 2009 i found out i was pregnant.
so i have been going to the ob/gyn for check ups once a week to make sure im on track.
the doctor i go to is just a quack!!!
Usually with an ultra sound they are supposed to be able to tell how far along a woman is. or by the HCG readings and also by last menstrual period. they havent been able to give me an estimate of how far along i am what so ever.
for the past couple weeks i keep getting told im about 4 weeks. how can i be 4 weeks for 2 weeks in a row??
any ways...
well on my last ultrasound the yolk sac finally showed up in the gestational sac.
But there is still no embryo or fetal pole.
and they right away told me its highly most likely a miscarriage.
and last time i had my quants checked they were 2,844. now todays results were in the 16,000's.

could it be that im just to early to see any of what they expect to see??
or could i really be misscarrying??? please advice?? im really scared..
this is my first pregnancy..

Well first of all I'd definitely go to a different doctor! If they can't even tell you a due date, or estimate how far along you are correctly, there's a problem! And you're not far along enough to see an embryo or fetal pole very clearly, that can take up until 7-8W for some women, just relax, go to a DIFFERENT doctor/hospital for a second opinion and see what they say :] Good luck!

Thank you lots. that makes me feel a little bit better. i mean i know theres always that possibility of miss carriage. but i hope im just to early. i only found out a month ago. and i have irregular periods. so they really cant go by the day of my last period.
