Pregnancy after ectopic

Has anyone out there gotten pregnant after having an ectopic?  A portion of my right tube was removed during the surgery, but the left side is still fine.  I waited 14 years for that pregnancy and worry that my time is running out (I am 38) and won't be able to conceive with just the left tube.  Anyone have any encouraging stories to tell.

I had an ectopic in my right tube last year and did get pregnant again this year but unfortunately mine ended in miscarriage.  You CAN get pregnant after ectopic though..I seem to be able to get pregnant just keep miscarrying.  Ther'es a LOT of women on fertility friend that have had ectopics and gone on to successful pregnancies.  Have you had the dye test in your tubes? Just curious.  My clock is ticking too so I do understand.  Best of luck to you!

my neice had ectopic several years ago.  She had a baby after that and is due again any day now

Hi there.I had my right fallopian tube removed after an ectopic pregnancy in 1992.I gave birth to my 2 nd son in 2001 and i am currently  12 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child.Best wishes to you ...cassiopia

Thanks to all who commented, it gave me something less to fear  about.  Yes, I had the dye test done and the left tube was just fine.  To be a little funny:  I thought I was going to have to have my husband aim for the left side!!.  Thanks again to all.

      To start off I will tell you my sister and I are 13 months apart... Are babys were suppose to be 3 months apart.. I am 19 and this happened last year...I found out I was pregnant for my first time in November and my sister was already prego.. . In Dec. I found out that my tube had burst and had to have surgery right away cause I was dieing, I had an Eptopic pregnancy.... My sister had her baby May 2nd and mine was suppose to be due in July or August... My left tube is scared up and they told me to get on birth control right away. .. So I got on implonon then had it remove a week later... Then I was taking some birth control pills .. But I soooooo Want to have another baby ... they told me that the chances of me having another eptopic pregnancy was really HIGH.. then went in and Had to have a Pap and they told me that I had to have 3 biopsys done ... they told me that the resolts form those were mild cancerous, and 1 might be moderate cancerous, but they usually cure them selves, I have to go back in August to get looked at again,,,, I JUST WANT MY BABY!!!! I am scared and I stopped taking the pills I just hope that I don't have cervical cancer and that I can just have 1 normal healthy baby boy some day ... Does anyone have any advise they would like to share with me... Thanks  CLOVER_888

On 8/19/09 I had an ectopic pregnancy. Both tubes were able to be saved however I am still in shock. Also today I started bleeding (moderately) and I am curious as to whether that is normal or abnormal. I have placed a call to the doc but have not recieved a response at this point...any answers?
