I had a good friend who was on Effexor and she had a perfectly normal baby. Matter of fact her little girl, Marissa, is 3 now and is very intelligent. I would consult your doctor with your concerns but if your doctor has left you on the medication it is for a reason. I am diabetic and they removed me from my pill form of the medication and put me on Insulin. But the doctor indicated why, I am sure if your physician knows about the Effexor then they are leaving you on that for a purpose.
