Pregnancy and Migrains

by WhatYouMakeMe, Jan 22, 2008 11:07PM
I'm 21 weeks pregnant and I have had an extreemly bad migrain for two days now.  I've been taking tylenol, but it will NOT go away.  Does anyone know of something else I can try?

Hi!  I'm sooo sorry.  I haven't heard from you in a couple of days- this is probaby why.  I don't know what to do to help you as I've never had one. Hopefully someone on here will have an idea.  Feel better soon!

Thanks so much!  If I don't feel any better in the morning then I'll give my doctor a call and see if they can get me that or anything else that they think will work.  I've always had a history of migrains, but the medicine I have on hand isn't safe for the baby.  I usually get a bad one 3 or 4 times a year.  The tylenol, ice packs, and dark rooms aren't working.

energy_train- Hey!  I'm sorry I haven't keep intouch the past few days, been feeling crummy.  I'll try to shoot you an update tomorrow, I just don't want you to think I'm ignoring you.  I hope Jayden is feeling better.  Talk with you tomorrow!

my doctor gave me a script for darvaset since I can't take my imitrex while pg - it doesn't do as much as the imitrex does but it puts me to sleep and helps with the migraine
