Pregnancy symptoms after period?

Pregnancy symptoms after period?

I have read every where about typical implantation bleeding but have also read that its possible to have heavy implantation bleeding or even a period. My fiancé and I have been TTC for the past 6 months. I was supposed to ovulate on the 4th of this month but ended up starting what I assume to be my period on the 14th putting my ovulation date on the 1st. My period seemed fairly normal and lasted about 4 days. The only reason I'm questioning whether or not I could be pregnant is simply because the "PMS" symptoms havent gone away. I usually tend to breakout before my period but my breakouts are as bad as when I was 13 years old and aren't getting better. I've been moody and EXHAUSTED. I've have on and off moments of nausea and dizziness and have had to go lay down in order to keep from throwing up. I know I need to take a test but I was just looking for some feedback until I get a chance to take one. Thanks!

No, it is not possible to have heavy implantation bleeding. You will read about it, because the two most commonly used words to explain bleeding while pregnant are a period and implantation bleeding, regardless of whether these words are correct.

A period is impossible while pregnant, just due to what is involved in one. You would miscarry if you had one while pregnant, as you shed the lining the egg embeds into, thereby flushing it out of your body.

Heavy implantation bleeding does not occur because the egg is smaller than the tip of a ball point pen. It is not going to cause heavy bleeding when it embeds into the lining, it's just too tiny.

It IS however possible to bleed for various other reasons. It could be due to decidual bleeding, SCH, irritation, etc. Honestly, the symptoms you have mean and tell next to nothing. Symptoms do not mean you're pregnant, and you don't have to have symptoms TO be pregnant. If I went based on symptoms I would say I'm pregnant every month. Guessing won't do much, so you definitely need to test. It's possible, but if the bleeding you had was a period then it would be doubtful.

last month on october the 19 I started what I thought was my period the only difference was I didnt notice pms like I had the month before, and it was HEAVY,  and lasted 7 days where my usual period only went for 5 days, I thought nothing much of it, anyway 3 days later, for some reason I decided to take a pregnancy test and it was positive!!, well that shouldnt have happened, and there is no way I should have been pregnant, but I was and it managed to stick through all that bleeding and cramping, so while unusual, it can and does happen....
