Pregnancy test

I took 2 pregnancy 2 days ago and they both came out positive. Then the next day i went to the doctors and took another pregnancy test and it came out negative. I dont know if i should go with the one result from the doctors or the 2 test that i took at home? is this normal and is it possible to have 2 positive and 1 negative just one day later?

How late are you for your af?
Unfortunately it could be a chemical pregnancy.  I would wait a couple days and test on your own again.  Did the doctor do a blood test?

It is when you get pregnant but it never attaches correctly.  It's also called and early m/c.  Doctors say if your not trying to get pregnant then you wouldn't even know you were preg in the first place because it would just be a late period.  I had never heard of it until I had one in November.

Blood tests aren't wrong.  When this happens you are pregnant its just that its not viable.  Its a very early m/c

The original poster didn't say whether the test at the doctor's was a blood or urine test...

If it was another urine test, you could definitely still be pregnant - the tests that they use at most doctor's offices are much less sensitive than the ones you can buy at the drug store - which means you can get positive tests on the pregnancy tests you buy at the store, then test the next day with a less sensitive test and get a negative.

I would ask for a blood test to check your hcg levels, and another blood test 48-72 hours later to see if the levels are rising as they should be.

shame that's so not nice, never heard of it until right now!!! What about these girls that even there blood tests are negative for like 6 weeks, but they feel that they are and then it turns out that they are Preggies? I thought Blood tests could not be wrong.?

well after all i did find out i was in deed pregnant and i think that the nurse she tested my urine at the doctors office mistakenly read the wrong results but i did get the blood test and it came out to early pregnancy!! Thanks to all who replied to this comment and it really did help me out.
