Pregnant and infection

I have developed a sinus infection over the course of the last week and have only been using Vicks Vapor rub at night; however the infection has now gotten worse because I now have green mucus coming from my nose and pressure behind one eye at 29 weeks pregnant.  Is there anything else I can take to relieve the symptoms?

For an infection you really do need to get into the doctor. They will most likely give you an anti-biotic and offer some advice on what OTC meds are safe to take in the last trimester. I had a sinu thing going on a little while ago and was told that minimal dosing of sudefed was okay and that nasal sprays were safe such as afrin. But you really do need to get on top of the infection first and treat the symptoms second.

I Agree! A sinus infection isn't something that you can wait out. Its one of those things that WILL GET WORSE b4 it gets better so, seek the help of your Dr. 4 relief.

Your doctor will need to prescribe antibiotics to clear that up.
