Pregnate after tubal ligation?

by tubalsurgery, Apr 07, 2005 12:00AM
I need to know the odds of getting pregnate after having a tubal ligation . I had it done almost 11 years ago and want to know if I can get pregnate again without reversal. I am having signs of pregnancy. I have been told that women do get pregnate after sometimes do they have normal pregnancies? I concieved both of my children while taken birth control like a doctor.

It would be quite rare to have a spontaneous pregnancy so long after a tubal ligation.  Not impossible (nothing is impossible), but very, very unlikely.

Thank you . I have heard that from other people as well but I was wondering how often it happens. I am hoping I am pregnate actually it would be a miracle baby to us. We have been talking about a reversal but I am having symptoms and just waiting to see if I have my period and take the test. Thanks again.

i've heard that they are dang near infoulable as long as they were cauterized with a laser (in the last 10 years or so) I know before that there were some instances where the tubes grew back together and women got pregnant, but since they switched to laser it's pretty rare.
