Premenstrual syndrome, pregnant or what?

Last august 4 i gived birth to my first baby boy at 22w old, after that i have a regular period except this month, its already 27 but still no period, i suppose to have my period dec17 but til now i dont have and i am having lower abdominal pain but negative HPT and no sore bobbies or nausea, just lower abdominal pain! And my check up to my Ob are on Thurs, can anyone answer me just to calm my mind? Or am i having a premenstrual syndromes?

Menstrual cycle can delay by 7-10 days without any reason. However, if you have periods right on time, take a pregnancy test again after 2-3 days. If urine pregnancy test is negative then go for a blood pregnancy test. A blood HCG estimation test would be most reliable. If the test is negative then you are not pregnant. If it is borderline, repeat after a week to see if the levels are rising. Rising levels indicate pregnancy. If this too is negative then other causes of delayed or missed periods will have to be looked at such as stress whether emotional or physical, hypothyroidism, polycystic disease of the ovary, pituitary tumors secreting prolactin, anemia and poor diet, hormonal imbalance, unexplained or sudden weight gain or weight loss. You will need to consult a gynecologist for this.
