Prenatal Viatamins

Hello eveyone,

I was just curious to know if anyone is taking the same vitamins as me.... They are called PregVit Folic 5!!  During my first pregnancy I was taking Materna and due to the lack of calcium in my diet my doctor advised me to take Caltrate 600 with Vitamin D.  Now that I'm taking these new vitamins, my calcium intake has not gotten any better, if anything it's a lot worse so I'm just wondering if anyone would know if it be okay to take the Caltrate again this time around??  I'm just over 8 weeks pregnant, my appointment with the OBGYN isn't until the first week of December and my doctor's office needs a new makeover where the secretaries are concerened as they are so RUDE, I can't even begin to explain.  So in ending this note, any advice is greatly appreciated:)

I'm lactose intolerant. When I got pregnant I started taking calcium suppliments and everything has been going fine for me. I'm not sure what caltrate is but if you need calcium then I'm sure you could find something.
