Prenatals & Diarrhea

Hello! I just started taking prenatal vitamins & I have had diarrhea and just aweful smelling bowels! Is there anything that you guys have found to help this?  Maybe just time?

If the diarrhea continues, stop taking them & let your doctor know.  

You could try a different brand, too.

It's not surprising if your poop is different, especially if the prenatals contain iron, but it does surprise me that there would be diarrhea from a vitamin.  (Iron, for example, often gives people constipation.)  

I agree with peek that maybe you should switch brands, or maybe check the pull date on the bottle to be sure they are fresh.  I used to throw up from one brand of "natural" multivitamins, it was something in the formulation or the binder they used to hold all the elements together.
