Preseed

I have a question about the preseed, Obviously right!?!  Anyway- I have a condition and I don't know the name of it, its like a mile long. Well- I can't have certain things because it irritates the lining of my vagina REALLY bad. My husband cannot use a lot of lubricants because it irritates me so bad that I cannot hardly sit down because it hurts so bad. Well- We've been trying to conceive now for about 8 to 9 months. No luck for us at all. We are both taking vitamins this next month and wanted to try the preseed but I am really worried I might have a reaction to it. I know it is sperm friendly but is it VAGINA friendly?? Thanks in advance for any help and comments.

Yes it is vaginal friendly but that does not mean you will not have an adverse reaction to it if you are that sensitive.

Have you used it??? Please say you have. Has it caused a burning sensation or anything like that?? I will know if it's not going to work when we use it. I ordered it off the internet this morning. It will feel like a yeast infection and a bladder infection together. it's horrible. I have to stay away from acid. I can't even drink orange juice or cranberry juice (both my favorites) I can't drink hardly ANY drink without a mild case of it. It is so irritating. Anyway- thank you so much for your response

Do you know the things that give you a reaction? If you do, go online and check the ingredients. PreSeed is sperm friendly because it's pH. Hopefully it'll work for you.

I have used it and loved it, but I also have never had a horrible reaction to any other lubes like you have. Good Luck!

Preseed is awesome, and it feels just like KY Jelly.  Absolutely no burning of any kind.

I would definitely take the suggestion above about comparing the ingredients in Preseed to something you know that you'll react to.  If there is a lot of similarities, then it might not work for you.

You can order it through their website, preseed.com, and I thought someone said that it is carried is some stores like Walgreens or RiteAid, but I'm not sure.

I have also been sensitive to other lubes, especially KY! Preseed did not bother me at all. I used it for the first time this month and I'm hoping for my BFP! Good luck to you!

That's the same site I ordered mine from. Thanks for the advice. I think I will compare ingredients. It couldn't hurt!! Thank you all SO much. I'm hoping that this next month will be our time!! We  both want a baby so bad.
Is there anything I need to do to help the preseed out if it doesn't hurt anything? Lay on a pillow?? About the whole pillow thing, I've been doing it for this last month. Do you need to really jack yourself up or just a pillow?? Any help would be SO appreciated. Thank you all so much. If I will just start already, I can , hmm hmm, WE can get to work!!
Oh- another question. (sorry) I had back surgery two years ago. Well- it REALLY started hurting again and the doctor thinks it didn't fuse. They have to do x-rays and everything. And over the next couple of months, they will do plenty of them. x-rays will really hurt a fetus wouldn't they?? What do you do about them if I finally do coneive and have to have stuff like this done?? Thank you all SO MUCH!!

I copied/pasted this from a previous post I wrote...this gives EVERY detail of my ttc encounter last month.

Here is the play-by-play of what I did different last month, just in case it was a combination of different things...not just the pre-seed! :-) (be prepared for TMI LOL)...

1. I knew from the O predictor on babyhopes.com my "expected" date of O. I discovered 2 months ago that I O 2 days earlier than the date they gave.

2. If you know when you're supposed ovulate, use pre-seed two or three times BEFORE your O day...first thing in the morning. Or perhaps every OTHER day leading UP to your supposed O day. I always test early in the am (around 6 am). This way, we can BD as EARLY in the morning as possible.(because we are both relaxed from sleeping all night, AND because men have a higher sperm count in the am...plus he leaves for work at 7! ;-)

3. We alternated positions. I've heard of women having a tilted uterus, and since I have no idea if I do, we would BD missionary one day, then from behind the next.

4. I would elevate my hips afterward with a couple of pillows. If it was early in the am, I just went back to sleep when possible for another 30 or 40 min. If it was in the evening, I would do the same, then relax while reading or watching tv for 30 min.

4. When I got my OPK +, we BD missionary that morning, then from behind that evening...using pre-seed of course.

5. Altogether, I only used 5 tubes of my pre-seed.

6. I thought this was something that had to be done AFTER you conceive, but one of the biggest things I did while ttc last month was lay off caffeine as much as possible, as it tends to affect ovulation (and increases the risk of late first or second trimester miscarriages, should conception occur). I drank decaf tea and water...with the occasional Sprite, Pepsi or caffeine-free Coke. I don't drink coffee, thank goodness...so that wasn't a problem!

OK, That's really all I can think of that I did differently and consistently last month.

I'm using preseed now...not now right this minute. :)
but now as in this week....I used 3 tubes so far..trying to bd every day this week and using preseed..and no reaction so far and feels great :)
I should O any day now..waiting for the positive opk but I also used it twice last week/weekend just in case I O'd early I dont' want to miss it.

I wish you all the luck in the world. I hope this stuff is the miracle that helps us get our little miracles!!! I am starting to take melalueca vitamins because I heard success stories while women and there husbands were on them so I just spent 190.00 on vitamins. I was thinking about the same thing!!!  I get irritated by everything!!!  I ordered Preseed for this month and I was also wondering if this was going to bother me.... I even have to use certain soap and laundry soap.... I can't even dry my underwear in the dryer!! ( i know, tmi!!!)....I just ordered it yesterday but we need to start bding b/c I am on CD 5... or a least soon.... I will also use the OPK...it should be interesting but I am willing to give it a try!!! I have heard so many positive things about it!!!!  Good Luck!!!
