A teacher I work with had a m/c early on and then continued to feel pregnant (morning sickness, no period, etc.) It turned out she was pregnant with twins. When she m/c they had assumed she was carrying only one baby when in fact one survived and one m/c. This was about 15 years ago before u/s were so high tech. I don't know if that could happen today or not.
pretty sure it's not possible. when you are pregnant the body secretes hcg. that stifles your body from releasing more egss. without a new egg being released you would not be able to fertilize. and hcg does not go down right away with a misscarriage. it can take days to weeks and even over a month. thats why so many womenWomen's way have pregnancy symptoms and don't know they have misscarried yet until an ultrasound or keep having symptoms after a misscarriage.
