Problems Sleeping

I am 14 weeks pregnant and for the past couple weeks I have been having trouble sleeping. I wake up a million times a night. Then I finally wake up at around 8:30am and give up sleeping. Even if I take a nap throughout the day I only sleep for like 30mins. It's driving me nuts. I am so tired and just can't sleep. Has anyone else out there had this issue?

Thanks

I had this with all my pregnancies, it does tend to go away. I sort of figured it was your body's way of preparing for the sleepless nights that come with having a newborn.

I'm going through the same thing.  I just think between having to pee 8 times a night and trying to find a comfortable position I can't get rest.  The only place I can sleep is on the couch.   Joys of pregnancy, I guess

I'm at the end of week 29, and for the last week I can't go back to sleep after getting up at 3 or 4am to pee, though before I got up to go the bathroom but was able to go back to sleep. Don't know if it's anticipatory anxiety for the delivery/baby or mother nature's way of preparing me for late night feedings! I am tired all the time now and this is impacting my ability to exercise to try to be healthy b/c overweight in addition to pregnancy or to study for a professional exam that I am trying to get over with before my baby is due in June. I use a body pillow but still have trouble getting comfortable and nose is stuffed up even though not sick and try to sleep with head up to help with that. Any advice is appreciated!
