I am just a few days over 8 weeks and I have had low Progesterone levels. Since my levels were low, my Dr put me on Prometrium which my latest blood draw showed helped increase my levels.
Here's my question...I was at 17, then 16.1 and last thursday, after a full week of taking Prometrium, my levels are @ 40.3! I called the Dr. office to get the results and the girl said everything looks great and to keep doing what I am doing. My husband noticed the level chart on one of my labs and it has 40 listed as a level in the seconf trimester. Should I be worrying?
I have said it before in this forum and I will say it again ...I think I am over reacting a bit and just a big worry wart, but it is my firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 100 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 25 First-progesterone vgs 400 First-progesterone vgs 50 First-testosterone First-testosterone mc pregnancy and I just want things to go well. Any help out there.
To all the preggers out there hope you have a day full of energy and NO sickness!
this is strickly my opinion.........if a nurse tells you everything looks great go with it and relax. doctors may have the higher degree and make way more money...but nurses are required by law (at least in my state) to know how the drugs work how to use them properly and what all the effects, good and bad, and how to take you off of them. they are to know all the ins and outs of all these drugs.....so if the nurse said it looks great then relax.
good luck and glad to see everything is going great.

I think the progesterone range is very large so I think 40 is good, just my opinion and I'm not a dr. but if your dr's office says it's good then I really wouldn't worry....
good luck and glad to see everything is going great.
