Progesterone level 10.6 is this high enough to conceive?? Please help

by aleeknott, Sep 27, 2005 12:00AM
I had an IUI done on Friday, September 16 and then this Friday I had my blood drawn and the Progesterone level was 10.6.  They injected 8.9million live sperm and I was wondering if anyone's level has been this low and still carried a baby to full term??? I know anything over a 10 is a positive ovulation...I just want to know how successful is it?

I think it's fine too.  Once fertilization and implantation occur, your levels should go up because of the pregnancy... if not, your doc should give you progesterone supplements.  Good luck and lots of baby dust!!  (I was on progesterone suppositories and am currently 19 weeks pg)

my level was under 10 when I conceived naturally. doc put me on progesterone supplements because it didn't rise like it should have as the pregnancy advanced (was on them for 14 weeks). so- yes- you can get pregnant with a level like yours. good luck!! :o)

I took a pregnancy test today and it was positive.  Just though I would share.  Yeah.
