Progesterone levels

I'm hoping that somebody can give me some input.  I had a progesterone level drawn last month cd21 and it was 10.4.  This month I started round one of clomid 100mg and now at cd21 my progesterone is 49.9.  Does anybody know if this is an indicator of early pregnancy?  My sil said it is a indicator of an etopic pregnancy.  I called my Re and he hasn't gotten back with me yet, I have an apt to see him on Friday. So here I am thinking up all worse case senarios.  Thanks in advance for any input.

Totally don't worry. The clomid really raises your progesterone level, and it's likely just that. With eptopic you'll notice a pain on one side. If you get a positive reading in a few days, then they'll do an ultrasound as soon as the hcg levels are high enough and then you'll know for sure. Best of luck.

I'm no expert but from what I was told w/ my ectopic pregnancy that a progesterone below 10 is a *red flag* for ectopic.  Yours is much much higher than that.  I really wouldn't worry - wait for that BFP and take it from there! GOOD LUCK!

Does clomid make the progesterone level that high even if you aren't pregnant.  I'm afraid to get my hopes up, I'm not due for AF until Monday.

I wish I knew but I don' tknow much about Clomid. Hopefully someone that has been on clomid can help you out with that part of it! Good luck again! =)

I had a .7 on day 22 and no ectopic here.
