QUESTION ON MOVEMENT ~~OPEN FORUM TOO~~

Ok, I know this question has probably been answered 1000 times but I am just curious again.  I am 22W 1D and have not had as much fetal movement as I have had in the last couple of days.  Could this mean something is wrong?  Usually after I have lunch he sqirms like crazy and didnt today!!  Anyone got any suggestions??  Please let me know.  Its kinda freaking me out.  I DID feel him this morning tho.

I would have days where Quinn was a wild woman and days where I felt nothing and would freak. It is normal for the little ones to have quiet days. I am sure baby is fine and will make up for it tomorrow.

I'm STILL having this problem and I'm almost 25 weeks.  For a week straight I'll always feel movement at a certain time, and then the next day, nothing.  I also notice that some days I feel so much movement I don't have time to worry, and some days so little movement that I spend the entire day stressing.  My dr's only explanation for this is I have an anterior placenta, which muffles some movement, although I should think the baby's almost big enough for me to feel more, everything seems to be fine.

At my last u/s they said my placenta was anterior.  What does that mean?

that means that your placenta is attached on the front of your uterus, so it's basically covering the whole front of your belly, around your bellybutton.  I guess it provides a pretty good cushion that keeps you from feeling your baby's movements in that area until they're really strong.  Ever since my dr told me that I've noticed I only feel movement off to the sides and higher up.

My placenta is on the front wall of my uterus, so dr says that's why it's taking so long.

If you felt him this morning, then everything is perfectly fine.  22 weeks is still the point of having sporatic movement; he won't be like clockwork yet.

Breathe in, breathe out, relax.  Have some chocolate.  :-)

I don't feel anything yet and I am 24 weeks. Dr said everything is fine. I want to feel that baby!

You should feel something soon I would think.  This is baby #2 for me so I have been feeling movement for a few weeks now!

Hey girl,
As normal, babies have their down days also. I know it is out first reaction to freak out...been there...but I am sure he is just resting and that all is fine. If you still feel unsure then when you get home you could try some orange juice and lay on your side and see if that gets him up and moving. Also keep in mind that you are still at the point that movement is not always felt. Please try to relax...i know easire said than done...but try. Keep us posted.
