It sure does sound like you ovulated on Saturday.  I usually cramp on one side while I am ovulating.  I have used ovulator detector kits...and they work great.  Use your first morning urine...and the kit will give you and idea on what day of your cycle to begin taking the tests.  It is probably too late for you to use them now though.  But just a suggestion for the future.

By the way you are describing your DC, and cramping, it sure does sound like you ovulated on Sat.  And the sperm can survive up to two days I hear.  Good luck to you...my husband I were not successful this month, so we will try again in a few weeks...I wish you the best though!

Just wanted to add that there was a recent study done indicating that many women ovulate SEVERAL times during their menstrual cycle, and thus the rhythm method is not always dependable!!  So it is possible to ovulate much earlier or later than you think you will, and also that it may happen a few times in a month.  Just something to think about!
