Question about Allergy Medicine

Hi Guys,
I am now 8 weeks along...woohoo. This is the farthest I have gotten and I feel it in my bones that I am having this baby...healthy and all. I have a question about prescrition medicine. I have Asthma and pretty bad allergies. I have been on Zyrtec when needed and I use Rhinocort nasal spray at night. I just want to know if anyone else uses any of these. My allergist said they were fine but I am jsut paranoid.

go to motherrisk.com, they can tell you about the latest studies on these meds.

My RE said Claritin is fine and my obgyn said Sudafed is okay. They both agreed that Benadryl is okay as well.

I suffered with allergies/asthma horribly while pregnant and I was prescribed Zyrtec, but I too was weary about taking it. My Dr. told me that Benadryl had been around longer and it was completely safe to take so I went with that. I took benadryl everyday of my pregnancy starting at about 10 weeks and my baby was born healthy!

Loki: I was on Zyrtec my entire pregnancy. its okay to take (so is Singulair). I'm not sure on Rhinocort... there was a nasal spray that I couldnt take, but I cant remember what it was. the Zyrtec is fine tho.
