Question for Twin Mommies

Just curious to those mommies carrying twins or who already had twins what were your HCG quant numbers like if you remember, how soon did you get your positive preg test, and when did they confirm it a twin pregnancy? Also when did you start experiencing pregnancy symptoms and how bad?

For me:

Day 8 post-ovulation (day 22 counting from first day of last period), I got a negative on a blood test.

Day 11 post-ovulation (day 25 from lmp) got a positive on an ept test at home.

Day 14 post ovulation (day 28 from lmp), beta hCG was 439.  This is the one that suggested to the clinic that it might be twins.

Day 16 post ovulation (day 30 from lmp), beta hCG was 1209.

What happened next:

The babies thrived and did fine, we saw their heartbeats at 6w 1d (bpm of 117 and 115, respectively).  But at 8w 3d or thereabouts, one embryo stopped.  We were warned about "vanishing twin" syndrome by my doctor, but it was still hard, especially since when we went in for the 11-week ultrasound, it was still there, looking intert, while the other baby kicked around and waved its hands.  The remaining baby is still with me and doing great, just passed all the quad screening and so on.

LMP was June 24th. First hcg urine test I did that came up positive came up positive 5 days before I was due.

1st HCG quant since LMP= 9

2nd HCG quant (9 days after 1st)= 1776


From you numbers and mine, they seem even higher right? Or could this be something else?

My next HCG quant is on Aug 1st as well as my 1st u/s. Wish me luck cuz we will know for sure then!
