Question on HCG levels after ectopic pregnancy

I was diagnosed with suspected ectopic pregnancy. My HCG levels when they administered Methotrexate was 3400. It went up to 3800 after 4 days and then dropped to 2400 after another 3 days. Doctor was happy with the progress. I did another blood test after a week and the hcg levels dropped to 800. I was bleeding for 4-5 days as well as light cramps. However after that, I have stopped bleeding and my latest blood test yesterday came back with hcg levels of 500. I am still having little pain/cramps.
I wanted to know if hcg levels can drop to 0 without bleeding. OR Does one need to bleed for HCG levels to drop?

It all depends, some bleed and some don't. I know that if they ahve not come down enough in two weeks they can give you another shot. But I know plenty of woman who have had eptopics after a tubal reversal and it took months for theri levels to go to zero! Also watch about sex becasue I also know plenty of woman who after three months of there levels coming down but not all the way got pregnant and one dr gave another shot, but the baby survived. The other woman lost the other pregnancy. It can take time my dear so just wait it out, in your case your numbers are coming down nice.
