Re-to rubella post

I am currently working with families and children and have been told to not have any direct contaxct with the children INCASE they have it, especially since we are non judgemental and dont exceed they have their immunizations up to date. My placement is okay with this. However my friend miscarried about 3 years ago because she was not immunized...she was bout 4-5 weeks

i also tested not immune to rubella and was told that it doesnt mean you're not really immune, just that your immunization has worn off somewhat. you probably still have enough immunity to it that you wont catch it, even if somehow you run into someone who has rubella. i verified this with my kids' pediatrician and she confirmed it.
