Results of First U/S

Well and I had my first u/s yesterday and I'm pregnant with twins again! Hopefully this twin pregnancy goes better than the last one.  This time the babies are sitting in seperate sacs and they both had strong heartbeats.  My gut tells me that it's a boy and a girl.  The u/s shows baby A all stretched out laying in the  middle of the sac and baby B is curled up in a ball laying against the side of the sac. My gut was right about the first twin pregnancy, they were identical boys, so hopefully I'm right about this one too.  Either way, I'm just praying for two healthy babies!

No twins do not run in my family.  I concieved these babies throught invitro.  They put two embryos back in and they both took.  I lost identical twins last October, 2003 at 18 weeks.  The identical twins I lost I concieved through artifical insemination.  I was just one of those very few people that had an egg fertilize and then split.

Sorry to hear of your prior loss,just try to stay positive. I know that's a hard thing to do after you lose a baby, I lost a baby at 12wks last October. My thoughts and prayers will be with you that everything works out..

I'm so sorry for your loss. It was the identical twins that made me think you had conceived naturally. I'm sure these babies will make it here just fine. They are off to a fine start! Again, congratulations.

Congrats!! I am so excited for you. Let me know when you find out what you are having. Maybe I will have to make you something. That is if I still have time after Alex is born. I am so happy for you. I felt so bad when you lost your last baby and then I got pregnant with Alex. I am so happy for you and your DH. By the way did you ever get another puppy after your other one had all those problems?
