Retrograde Ejaculation

Good morning all..I got really busy with the end of the school year so I disappeared for a bit, but I've had a question on my mind and was hoping that someone out there would have some insight.

A year ago my husband had an anterior spinal fusion (back surgery going in through his abdomen).  The doctor told him that there was a 1% chance of sterility but didn't ellaborate.  We brushed it off.  Well sure enough he developed retrograde ejaculation, which is where the "stuff" :o) goes into the bladder instead of out of the penis.  Anyway he went to a urologist and was put on a medication that has seemingly taken care of the problem.  But after his last visit to the doctor he came home talking about having a sperm count done.

Ok, so here is my question...have any of you had any experience with such a condition and still gotten pregnant?  I am wondering if even though condition seems to be better if there is still a possibility that the sperm aren't getting through?  Anyone with any knowledge or experience in this matter is greatly appreciated.  We really want a baby and have been trying for several months...Help please :o(

What was the medicine that fixed the retrograde?
