Hello, I am about 5.5 weeks pregant (1st pregnancy), and had hcg and progesterone tested one week apart. On 1/3, hcg was 122 and progesterone was 22. On 1/10, hcg was over 4000, and progesterone dropped to 19. Is this normalNormal saline flush for progesterone to fluctuate? My Dr. told me that it was still a strong number, but that she wants me to get the levels checked one more time in a week to make sure they are not dropping. Please help! I'm so nervous!!!
I would just ask your doctor to see if you can have progesterone supplements. A lot of times you have to ask the doctor. The supplements won't hurt you or the baby. You may feel more tired or dizzy. I had to ask mine to test my progesterone level the second time I was pregnant. That is how I found out mine was low and they put me on suppositories. I can understand why you are nervous but your hcg levels look great. Just call your doctor tomorrow and see what he/she can do for you.
I'm just confused because mine is not considered low, so why would they put me on a supplement? I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of fluctuations and if this is normalNormal saline flush or not.
I had my last period 12th December. My hcg level on 12 January was 19! This is really low and they are checking it again tomorrow. This level is considered normalNormal saline flush for someone who is a few days pregnant not weeks. I'm so scared that i'm about to miscarry. I know it is possible i ovulated a few days late so i'm clinging on to that hope. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
