Robitussin and ttc

Has anyone ever heard of taking robitussin to help you conceive? My SIL has a friend and her dr told her to take it everyday. It's something like your body may not be secreting mucus the way it is suppose to and the sperm cannot get through it. Well she done it and has a very healthy baby now. Is there any truth to this or what? Any comments would be appreciated.

many drs recommend it to thin out the cm. It depends if you have enough and if its already thin. but has been proven to work.
