Hope everyone has a great day!  I was awakened this morning to my little one kicking away!  This is the first time I've felt this much movement.  What a nice way to start my day.  I love that feeling.

I hope this month is the one!  When will you test?  I'll say a prayer for you.  Good luck.

Good luck Kristen!!! If you are pregnant now, you will definitely have a Christmas baby or actually, maybe a New Years baby!!! Lots of babydust for you.

Hi Silo, wow, lots of kicking. That is so cool. I could lay there all day and feel that. Oh, I tried the dobbler. Nothing yet, but I heard my own hearbeat. That was kind of cool. I never heard it before. So, what are your plans for the day?

I just ate and I feel a little nausious. I was going to go to church but I think I will wait until this evening and go then. I'm just afraid I will be sick there or something and I just don't feel well enough to get ready. I was on the couch all afternoon and even yesterday after my sons basketball games. I couldn't get out of my own way. Every time I eat now I feel really gross and tired. Again, I am not complaining, I'm actually glad I feel this way!!!

Kat, how far along are you now? What is you EDD? I'm 7 weeks today!!! Yuppeee! I think I will ask my doc to do a beta level on me this week just to keep an eye. She is quite concerned about my history and I'm sure she's going to consider me a high risk pregnancy and keep an eye on my progress. Just like the other jackass should have been doing. Thank God I made the call and go in to another doctor. I wouldn't have a nerve left in me by now. Well, keep me posted on how you are feeling and your new symptoms.

i am almost 11 weeks.  my due date is November 8th - the same day as my first daughter - she will be 3 when the new baby arrives.  it sounds like you found a great doctor this time - i am glad to hear it.  i am fairly new to the board - so are you high risk because of your previous m/c?

by Missy04, Apr 18, 2004 12:00AM
Hello ladies.  Just coming on to see how everyone is doing today.  Capermom I am so glad that you are feeling sick! lol Well you know what I mean, sounds like this one is going to stick around.

Well I had to put on maternity clothes today! boohoo.  I will be 14 weeks on Wednesday. It just seems to early.  I tried to put it off as long as I could. I have some plain stretch pants that I have been wearing but feel so blah wearing those. Some of my dress/work clothes are still ok just a little tight but my jeans/weekend relaxing clothes are getting to tight. I hate this in between stage where nothing really fits, the maternity clothes are to big and my regular clothes are getting to tight and cutting into my waist.  I heard this somewhere but can't remember where: Your first pregnancy you can't wait until you wear maternity clothes, your second pregnancy you delay wearing maternity as long as you can, and by your third pregnancy your maternity clothes are your regular clothes! This is my second pregnancy and it is so true.

Anyway have a great day everyone!

Has anyone had a little boy with adhesions on his circumsized penis?  The doctor didn't seem concerned, but then said we should go to a urologist.  I'm confused.

Ok I am really starting to dislike the 2nd trimester.  I got my dang appetite back.  I think I liked it better when I was sick and did not want to eat.  I am almost scared to go to the doctor Thursday because I DO NOT want to get on the scale.

Hey Capermom and Chloe I am so glad to hear you are both still having symptoms even though they are not good ones.  I was laughing so hard at Chloe and the booby sling thing.  Mine are a little sore and my DH makes fun of how large the areola is but they are not leaking.  I can't even squeeze anything out.  I hope that does not mean I am not producing anything plus I don't really work at it either hurts too much.   Well Caper welcome every gag and puke episode you may have because I have heard that is a real good sign of a good pregnancy.  Hey Chloe you are about a week & 1/2 behind me are you feeling any movement yet????  I think I am but it is very very little.  I can't wait til it picks up so I can stop being so darn paranoid that something is wrong.

Kassimom I am sending LOTS & LOTS of testosterone your way.   I hope the u/s was right and we are having a boy.   I already want to go out and buy some clothes but until we are almost 100% sure I want to hold off.   Well good Luck to you it sounds like you along with our other preggos are holding on to these little ones.   Everyone enjoy this time.  Take care ,  Angie

by capermom, Apr 18, 2004 12:00AM
Kat, wow, I didn't think you were that far along for some reason, don't know. Well, that's great! Some many preggos it's hard to keep the EDDs right.

Thanks Chloe, be sure to fill us in on you u/s. Good luck girl!

Missy, don't be sad, I'm sure you are glowing!!!

Blondie, I've been starving off and on for the last two weeks. I know I've gained, I gained 40 plus with both of the boys. They say when you cary boys you are hungry all the time, I was too.  Ohh, I dread all the extra weight afterwards though. Anyway, if you are hungry eat. You need it.

I'm wondering, were any of you that have had m/c's been told to obstain from sex or orgasm. I am scared to death because we did. Now all I'm doing is kicking myself for doing it. I wanted to wait for another couple of weeks. What do you think? I wasn't sick all afternoon either and this is bringing thoughts.

by Still_AndiJ, Apr 18, 2004 12:00AM
Capermom-
Even after 4 m/c, I have never been put on pelvic rest that early. With my son I was on complete bedrest from 26 weeks on due to preterm labor, but that is about it. I have had to deal with modified bedrest, but not until the 2nd trimester.
Neither sex nor orgasm will cause you to m/c a healthy baby.

Danasel-
I know we were worried about that with my son after his circumcision, but we were copious about cleaning it and pulling the remaining skin back with each diaper change (scary and heartbreaking,I know, but it is necessary to avoid the adhesions) I had a friend who's little boy developed adhesions and had to basically undergo the whole thing over again! Hopefully the urologist will have a better remedy for you.

I think I'm going to wait until at least day 31 to test. My ovulation predictor kit showed positive like day 21, so I'm guessing it will be at least that long until a test would be accurate.
