Hi every1. I have a been wondering of late if there is any risk in having an energy drink every now and then? These energy drinks I speek of are like Powerade or Gadarade (sp??)... DH had dehydrated pretty bad the other day and I brought him some at the supermarkets and have aquired the taste for them (I used to drink them pre-pregnancy) but was just wondering if there should be a concern in having them...I have had like 2 in a week.
Hope all is well in your nick of the woods. Take care!
My sister drank a gatorade everyday b/c she was always getting dehydrated....Her Dr. told her to do this or to drink pedialite...SO I think it's safeSafe driving for teens Safe sex ....I guess 1 a day won't hurt.... GOod luck!!!
I know my doc said gatorage was ok once in awhile because it helps with dehydration, but try not to drink to much because of all the sugars in it. I also had a question since you said we could also use this as an open forum.
My question: My hubby went out and bought me a few Naked juices, but it says "gently pasturized" Is that safeSafe driving for teens Safe sex to drink during pregnancy? (I'm 5 weeks)
...the "energy drinks" I don't think would be ok. There is a difference. That "Red Bull" stuff or "Red Rain", or any of those I would stay away from as they are LOADED with caffeine!!!
Gatorade has mostly good stuff in it and has something (I cannot remember the name right now) - but it helps you to absorb water or retain water... so it is good when you are dehydrated!
Gatorade should be fine, it's full of electrolite, which you probably will be giving to your baby when he/she gets sick and pukes/ has diarhea (diarrhea).
It's the same stuff as in pedialite, just tastes better (it's sweet not like the yucky pedialite, it's kind of salty so kids on't drink it)
Ya you can have that it wont make any side affects. No problem in having the energy drinks on the pregnant time. My family member is also having a drink per day. If you have any doubts, please ask us.
