Saliva;s colour

My child is 7 years old. Some times, when she gets up morning her saliva is in red/pink coloour. Why ? what is the
reason for it.  Pls.revert back.

There may be a simple answer (I hope ). Frequently I'd awake in the morning and have a yucky taste in my mouth, when I would go spit in the sink it would be red/pink. I discovered that I was biting the insides of my cheeks when I am asleep. This is caused by clenching your jaw, while you are not aware of it. Try looking inside your childs mouth on the sides, to check for sores. I hope this is the case, good luck
