Sex After D&C

My girlfriend and i found out a couple months ago that she was pregnant.Well this past weekend she had a miscarridge which requied her to have a D&C. She was told by her doctor to wait 6 weeks befor she has sex again. My question is do we have to wait 6 weeks to start haveing sex?Will it hurt her or her body in any way if we have sex now?

Don't do it. I know how hard it can be to wait, but wait. If y'all wanted this baby and are going to try again, you are best advised to listen to what they say. They don't tell you these things just for the sheer pleasure of torturing you both. There are reasons. Best of luck.
