She has a tooth!!! Yay!

by becca_3456, Apr 21, 2008 12:20PM
I just wanted to share. DD is 8 1/2 months old and she finally has her first tooth!! She is growing so fast:( Also she has   started pulling her self up to a standing position and trying to WALK!! Then she realizes that she is own her own and will fall down. The look on her face when she finally makes it up all the way is priceless!!! She is so amazed that she can do it she has the biggest smile of satisfaction:) I have to baby proof NOW or she will get her self into lots of trouble. Anyway thanks for letting a proud mama share her news:)

Congratulations.  They do grow fast.  We have to cherish every moment because soon they will be having kids of their own and we will be looking back and saying I remember when you got your first tooth or I remember when you first pulled yourself up.

awww, late tooth baby just like my dd.  My dd did not get a tooth until she was 9 months.  Your daughter is so cute... Love the pictures.

YAY!! That's an exciting milestone!!!!
I am still waiting for Jameson to get a tooth--almost 7 1/2 months and not a one in sight. But it's fine--I am never in a hurry for him to grow up! It happens fast enough anyway. AND he already bites me occasionally while breastfeeding---and it hurts WITHOUT teeth!! lol

She is absolutely DARLING!!!!!

I am still waiting on that day!  My DD is 8 months, too.  Some days I can feel a tooth under the surface and some days not.  She is chewing on everything and drooling like crazy!

Hi I was waiting for DD to start drooling like crazy to start looking for a tooth but she has never been a drooler. Even with now I can see another tooth on the side of her new one and still no drooling. I thought babies drool like niagra(spelling) falls when they are cutting teeth? My cousins baby clothes are always wet with drool and she is 2 weeks older than DD. Anyway not complaining just curious.

Consider yourself lucky.  My son drools all the time.  I'm always drenched in it also.  Can't ever have a nice outfit on :(
