Should I try to conceive when I have a mamo on cd8?

I am getting a baseline mamo on day 8 of my cycle.  I ovulate on day 13 or 14, so I will not be pg when I have the mamo.

I am concerned that the developing follicle could be more harmed on day 8 than on day 2 of my cycle.
Is this true?

Also, would it be best to not try to conceive this month and wait until next month?

Thanks

I don't think it will hurt anything, but do tell the tech you are TTC...they might have you wear a shield over your waist, anyway.

I came across a site that said you get less radiation exposure from a mammogram that 15 minutes in a tanning booth.  Don't know if that's true, but I don't think that brief exposure will hurt anything at all.
