My sister in law has been on birth controlControl Control rx pills for one year but she just found out she is a month and 1 week pregnant. How is this possible? She told me she never skipped any of the pills. I took birth controlControl Control rx for 2 years and of course I never got pregnant. Does anyone know why it works with some peoples bodies and then others it doesn't? Just curious.
It is not enough to take the pills each day--they have to be taken within 4 hours of the same time each day. There are also certain medications that can interfere with the action of the BCPs.
If a person is obese, also, there may be issues of effectiveness. It is extremely rare for a person who takes it exactly as prescribed, who gets pregnant. But it certainly can happen.
One of the biggest factorsFactor ix complex pills can fail is if they are taken in conjunction with certain diet pills as well. My SIL got pg because she was taking her BCP with Metabolife, causing her body to metabolize the pills at an accelerated rate.
NO, she is not obese, quite the opposite short, petite and good figure. I know she wasn't on any medications and as far as I know she has taken the pill in the four hour window. My mother in law was the same way she got pregnant while on the pill as well but that was a long time ago.
If anyone can tell me what it feels like to ovulate, can you let me know...like i said, i'm pretty dumb when it comes to this kind of thing. OH and also, the cm, does it come out on its own or do you have to go and get it to see if its stretchy. I don't remember EVER having this.
With our first child, I was on birth control pills (ortho-tryclen) and I took them at the same time everynight before I went to bed. Well, after 8months of taking them, I became pregnant with our first son. My doc says that every woman's body is different and some just can't take bc pil.
I too got pregnant with my first while on triphasal. Took them every day but I was dieting and drinking tons of water. I think I flushed them right out of my syste. What a shock that was.
hi, this month i did not take one pill as i lost it. how possible is it that i could become pregnant if i had intercourse 3 days before starting my next month's package? and when can i take a pregnancy test? i read u must wait at least 3 days before you expect your next period to start. is this true?
i have been on birth control for about 8 months, right after my period last month about 2 days after i have intercourse... i have been waking up in the middle of the night feeling sick and i have had bad headaces and backaces, also my perods was barley anything this month im scared im pregnate and im still taking birth control

But by far the easiest way to screw up pills is like Christie mentioned, by nor taking them close to the same time daily. One friend of mine has 2 pill babies due to this very reason.
Best to double up on BC methods if you are adamant about not being pg.
