Spotting?

Hi, I started spotting off and on yesterday, no need for sanitary napkins. I am 9wks 5 days along. It would be pink then sort of red, if that makes sense? today it is only a little brownish dishcharge and not everytime I go.  Very worried, this is my first pregnancy. Have an appt on weds. Had intercourse the night before? thank you for any advise.

Intercourse definately can cause spotting. Try not to worry.  Since its brown, it means old blood.  You probably just irritated your cervix during sex.  Good luck.

I agree with wisegirl, and would also let up on sex a couple of days just for reassurance for you, that the bleeding will go away.

My MD advised to hold off on sex for 2 weeks when I had spotting to see if it stopped (then you know the cause). Good Luck!

i have brownish red spotting  2 or 3 days before periods for the past 2 or 3 months.......till now i didn't have such problems....i have regular periods on th 25th 0r 26th day.......rest is fine.......please help
