Starting Period

by Tamara551, Feb 08, 2007 12:00AM
About how long after you stop breastfeeding should I start my period.  My baby is nine weeks now and I had to stop feeding last week.  I did spot for one day last week but that was before I quit feeding.  After I had the baby I stop bleeding after one week and the spotting is the first since then.  I was wondering when I should see my doctor about it.

No definite answer, it is differant for each woman.  It will probably take a few months for it to be normal.  And it will be a new normal, not exactly they way it was before the baby.
