Stopped my birth control and not having my periods

Hi, I was on the birth control pill for a short while and after finishing the second dose, I stopped but still had my period for that month. I had sex a week after my periods were over and two weeks later I experienced another period. I also had some spotting after that. This was in some time early march. I am so confused. I haven't had my period this april and I do not know why I had a period 2 weeks after stopping the pill. Can someone please tell me if something is wrong with me stopping the pill or if I could likely be pregnant.

I would get to your doctor ASAP!!  I stopped taking the pill and didn't have a period for 3 years.  I wound up making the problem worse because I just didn't get my butt to a doctor.

The pill does cause your body to do some strange things when you stop taking it but you weren't on in long enough I think to have stopped your period all together.

hi , i stopped taking the pill a week before christmas and i still didnt get a period . i think its different for some people when they get off of the pill . some people get preg right away and some people dont , some get their period and some dont for awhile . but i think u should go to your dr to get check just in case  if you dont get it .   amanda

Birth contorl causes so many problems as i know first hand.
i was on BC from june 05, found out i was pregnant in november 05 after missing a period. dh and i lost that pregnancy in dec 05. we waited a month and continued trying, i had a chemical pregnancy last month so i decided to go back on the pill. from day 2 of taking it i have had a constant headache, feeling dizzy, i've passed out 2x and i was 3 days late for my period. i've been have horrible cramps and only light bleeding, sorry for tmi but basically yesterday i didnt fill up 1 tampon all day and night. i would love to come of birth contorl but as i decided it was too soon to try for another it was our only option. the pill mucks up our bodies! i am going to the doctor to talk to them as i could be pregnant, the pill might not be right for me or it could be so many other things. i'm too much of a medical worrier! go to the doctor, they should be able to help you!
