Strep Throat

Quick question. I have had a sore throat for the past couple of days and have a drs apt today. Can strep throat harm a pregnancy?

No, I just went thru that!! My eight year old had strep and I was 25 weeks pg. My Dr. said that it was no big deal if I got it, they would treat it the same as if I weren't pg. Good Luck!

No, I also went through that when I was around 3 months. Doctor said not to worry... Not the same as the strep B...

I just got over it and just got a + yesterday. I thought about that at first too because they have some pretty strong antibiotics anymore, They put me on some that I only take one a day for five days instead of three a day for a week. Worried about that at first but your comments relieve me. Thank you
