To: OK-I'M A NEW MOMMY!!!!
I am the proud mom of a 6 week old Doberman puppy named Jefferson.  He is about 6 pound, is cute as a button, and arrived 4 hours ago.

I have already regained my figure.

Sigh....Puppies come to me like unwanted pregnancies come to a 16 year old on prom nite.  It just happens.

Anyway--sleepless nites for me for a while!

Yes--Tylenol in the recommended amounts is safe to take while breastfeeding.

Christie answered your question.........I just wanted to add...
I only take what I was allowed to take while I was pregnant. I figure that if it was okay while I was pregnant then it is okay now that I am breastfeeding.
(Tylenol & Sudafed)

Congratulations.........I think!!!!! LOL
I have a little dog (mixed breed) and a Rott......they are quite enough for me........No way could I handle what you have.....
They are all very beautiful!
Jefferson looks huge for being only 6 weeks old.
Best of luck.....you will need it for the next couple months.

Christie - He is adorable. DD wants a dog but I told her we would have to wait a bit now that we are having another baby.

Question - Since the problem wednesday with the lower back pains that I went to L&D for I have been having tons of pressure in my rectum. I thought at first it was constipation but I have numerous bm's since then. Is this normal and if so what could cause it?

More than likely it is increased pressure from the baby dropping, or just from the increased pelvic congestion that comes with the latter part of pregnancy.  You could very well develop hemmorhoids, too.

The worst things you can do are to stand still in one place for a long time, or sit in one place for a long time.  Try to lay on your side (preferably left) several times a day for at least 20-30 minutes at a time.  (yeah, RIGHT).

There really isn't a lot else you can do.  One of those pregnancy girdles may help by supporting and taking the strain off your lower abdomen.

Thanks you are always such a great help. I guess I should proabably try to get up and walk around a bit more. I have a desk job answering the phone so sometimes it is hard to get away but it is better than being uncomfortable.
