I accidently hit post before my question!  My son was so active and still is that I never thought I could carry a more active baby, but this DD never stops!  I can literally feel knees, feet and elbows poking through my skin.  My mom said I was the same way and I weighed 9lbs, 5 oz.  Do you think my DD is really more active than my son, or do you think is it a sign that she is really big?

i think if she is too big, then she won't have too much space to move, but maybe every thing is possible, did they did an u/s for you? how much she weighted last time, any how babies in the last month put 1/2 pound every week.

my baby girl moved all day long until she was born. i couldn't figure out how it was possible, since babies at that stage supposedly sleep 90% of the time. she was born last week at 36 weeks, and one thing we noticed, especially in the first few days, was that she was constantly moving even in her sleep. and she was born tiny. nermine is right- she would probably be moving less if she was really big.

You had your baby at 36 weeks?  That gave me butterflies in my stomach as I'm at 35... but I'll prob go to 42 lol.

I'm with the other ladies on this one.  If she were too big, she'd have no room to move around that much.  Did they do a u/s to see if she's doing ok?  Maybe she's just an active baby.  I could barely feel DD move and she's a very lively, active, you name it 10 month old :))

I'm going with the majority on this one......I'd think if she was too big, you wouldn't feel her as much because she'd be running out of room to move so much!

Nikki.....You better not go to 42 weeks! That means I'd probably go to 44! lol
