Symptoms gone at 7 wks?

by jenstam, Dec 30, 2006 12:00AM
I am 7 wks pregnant today. In the past day or so I have noticed that my nausea has subsided and my breasts aren't really as sore as they were. They're still sensitive, but nothing like they had been. Over Christmas weekend I had just started to feel some nausea, especially when hungry. Now, in the past few days I haven't really experienced anything-it's like the symptoms have disappeared. Anyone out there had this happen? If so, what was the outcome? I'm worried. I had a miscarriage with my last pregnancy, but that was at 5 wks and it was on 11/16. I got pregnant again right away. I have had no cramping or spotting or anything, which was how my miscarriage started, but now I worry about a missed miscarriage. Anyone had this happen with a positive outcome?? I just don't feel pregnant.

Hi:

I wouldn't worry too much.  Although my symptoms subsided with my 6 miscarriages in the past 2 years or so, I really never had them with my dd or my first pregnancy, which ended in a mc after a CVS test.  The baby was normal.

Please keep us posted.  I'm sure you'll be fine.

If you are worried, and since you have a history of m/c already, you could call your doctor or go to the ER and just get an u/s.  I wouldn't worry to much, because symptoms do come and go.  But if the do subside to much, that CAN be a red flag.  Again, if truly worried, go to the ER and just get a quick scan.  Sticky baby dust to you!

I've heard symptoms do come and go though.
Be positive! =) Im sure you are just fine! when is your next doctor's app? to hear everything is going ok always puts your mind at ease! =)

Thanks all. I know I am extremely sensitive to every little thing since having the miscarriage. My next appointment isn't until January 26th. They will do US at that appt, but that's a long time to wait. If I am still worried in the next day or so, I will call a nurse and see if they say to go in. I don't like to jump the gun, but sometimes you need the extra reassurance. I fear missed miscarriage. I hope that's not the case though. I'm probably just worrying over nothing. I will keep you all updated. Sticky baby dust to all of us that need it.

While supposedly there have been studies that linked heavy mornign sickness with healthier babies, I don't believe it.  I have been pregnant... now 8 times.  With my two living children I didn't have a day of symptoms.  No sore breasts, no morning sickness, nothing.  I am 5 weeks pregnant now and I have not had any symptoms other than sore breasts (they were always sore before I was pregnant because my body couldn't make up it's mind about having periods or not) oh and I'm tired a lot this time, but that could be because I am 31 and working 45+ hours a week.  I am wondering if the no morning sickness for me relates to the gender of the baby, lol, I've miscarried 4 boys and 1 girl but my two living children were both girls.

If it concerns you talk to your doctor, but remember not everyone has pregnancy symptoms to the extreme all the time.  Each pregnancy is different, and each woman is different.

Jenshim-

Hi! I was wondering how you are doing because we both are in the same boat with our M/Cs in mid-nov and got pregt before 1st AF.   You should consider calling your DR to go in earlier because its going to be on your mind- and like you said, the 26th is long time to wait it out.  I was going to wait to get my HCG test until the day after New Years and decided I was too curious to know if my #s were high.  I went in on Thurs. and I was shocked to here that they were 14492.  They never went above 5000 with my m/c at 7weeks.  I think I am around 6w2d pregt, but not sure of the conception date.  Anyway, the DRs suggested a US now because my HCG level was above 10,000.  I go in on 1/3... and extremely nervous.  I dont know if you read my other post yesterday, but I am also dealing with a death in my family.  My grandfather passed away yesterday and while I was getting ready to say my final goodbye to him at the hospital my DRs office called to tell me my HCG level.  Talk about shaking and nerves! The news have me more hope and I continue to pray for a miracle.  I wish you the best and keep us posted if you decide to go in earlier.  Happy New Year!

I am in my eighth week... i noticed by pregnancy symptoms have almost disappeared in the past few days... I didnt have m/s but I had VERY tender breasts... I also got yesterdays hcg back... 159,000. Two weeks ago, it was 64,000...I know taht after 6000 it only doubles every 4+days, but 11 days? At 6.5 weeks, we say a heartbeat, but also saw a venous/placental lake....
I am so worried that something has happened to the baby in these past two weeks. My breasts were SO sore only days ago and now nothing. I am waiting for yesterdays progesterone test to come back.
I hope you find some answers.... i know they say symptoms fluctuate . but its still worrisome.
