Symptoms to expect?

Hello everyone,
This is my 2nd round with IVF.The first time we did a five day transfer to eggs, this time we did a three day 3 egg transfer on Feb 9th.All this waiting is driving me crazy.What is bothering me the most is that I am not confident that I am injecting the progesterone in the correct spot.I have done it where the diagram shows but I keep second guessing myself.so I injected in my thigh,that hurt.I am probably doing it correctly just with it failing once already it is in the back of my head "Was it my fault it didnt work?"I followed every instruction to the tee and for some reason I keep second guessing myself,probably just my nerves.Thanks for listening to me vent.Good luick everyone!!!

As long as the shot is in the muscle (not the blood vessel), progesterone injections are effective.  The only reason they have you inject it in the hip is because it hurts less there.  It could theoretically be injected into the thigh, it just hurts.  If you are drawing out the needle slightly after the initial poke to be sure you haven't hit a blood vessel, you are fine.
