Just wondering...it doesn't look like cottage cheese, does it? I also think it sounds like a yeast infection. But if it looks like cottage cheese it could be bacterial vaginosis (vaginitis).
Erika, I am not sure, it changes texture so many times. Sometimes it is very milky white, and sometimes very dry maybe like cottage cheese looking. I don't understand how I could have gotten an infection though, I don't douche or anything so can't figure out why I got this. Anyway thanks for your advice.
It really sounds like a yeast infection. You should go to the doctor. You can get a yeast infection without doing anything "wrong" even just from things in your diet. It's really not a big deal, but you really should get checked out by a doctor. You need to be sure of what it is before you treat it.
yeast infections usally itch alot, and burn. And it kinda smells like bread. you can get them, from taking antibodics, or from oral sex, I am sure there are other ways but I know that it is when the natural bacteria that keeps the yeast down, is killed and the yeast grows in bundles. After you get it figured out, you might want to try the new "Rephresh" product. It balances you ph, and sheds the lining in your vaginal passiage, it increases natural lubercation. I really like it anyways. And i just got it at my local pharmacy (CVS)
Hello. Did you know that they have an over the counter test, that you can do at home for a yeast infection??? I just say it while I was clipping coupons and there was a coupon for it!!! Just thought, that maybe you should try that and then contact your Dr.??? hope this helps!!! Jacquie
Anyone else please take a minute and give me your advice...
Good Luck!

I get the Bacterial Vaginosis all the time.. and my discharge does the same thing... can be really milky and then really thick at times. I dont have to do much to get an infection.. i can just change my body wash or my laundry detergent or a change in my diet or even "dirty sex" sometimes. and it feels completley different from a yeast infection. Becuase I had that one time and it was COMPLETLEY UNBEARABLE. But the BV was just annoying. But, good luck.
