TTC after stopping pill

I came off the pill last December to try for a baby, since then I have had a 51 day, 32 day, 48 day cycle and am now on 29th day of 4th cycle.  I've found it impossible to get a +ve opk test with not knowing how long each cycle was going to be.  Also started charting bbt which has been up and down right through cycles.  Although today my cm was like egg white, but I had a -ve opk test.  Also had very light bleed (like end of period bleed) on days 22/23 of last 2 cycles.
I know it takes a while for cycle to settle after being in pill, but how long should I leave it before I check things at the doctors?  Should I be worried about the bleed mid cycle?

I was on the pill for about 5 years, although I didn't start trying right away after I stopped taking. Not sure if this is your situation or not, but I had a few doctors tell me that if your cycles are irregular before the pill then there is a good possibility they will be irregular after you go off the pill also. SOmetimes it can just take a while for your body to get back to normal too. I'm not sure the light bleeding is that unusual but you may want to call your doctor to make sure. Good luck to you.

It took me 6 months after getting off the pill to finally regulate, and then I got pregnant, had a miscarriage and I am finally back on regular cycles.
So dont worry about it until you have been off the pill for 9 months or so. After that, go to the doctor to see if they can help to regulate them..
As for now just be sure to be taking your vitamins and eating healthy and exercising, all of those things can help straighten our your cycle!

Thanks for the comments.  I actually got a positive on the opk today so at least I know where I am in my cycle this time round!  I'll try and be patient, v difficult though.

I stopped taking the pill after ten years and also had a very crazy cycle.  My dr finally put me on clomid to regulate.  I  I ovulated this month for the first time in 10 years!
